Operating out of our base in Surrey, J&O Groundworks specialise in delivering groundwork solutions with an emphasis on quality across the South East regions of England. With over 40 successful years of accumulated experience in the construction industry, at J&O we really pride ourselves on both our extensive knowledge and our inherent ability to deliver the highest-quality projects at the most competitive of prices.

We have wide-ranging experience working on both large and smaller-scale projects and across a variety of different sectors. We’ve delivered groundworks packages and other works for a number of prestigious high-end housing developments in recent years and are proud to have delivered works for some of our more famous local landmarks; completing projects for Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and most recently, have successfully delivered two projects for LEGOLAND.

Our Services

We strive to maintain competitive prices across all of our services and can offer different payment options to suit individual needs, whether that be lump sum prices or price-measured rates as required, on a labour, plant and materials basis. We have completed works as both Principal Contractor and Subcontractor in the past, and are happy and available to work on either basis, depending on what best suits your project size and budget.

Earthworks

J&O Groundworks has vast experience in bulk excavation and earth removal. Our dedicated team can clear sites of non-hazardous waste, rubble and unwanted materials. Don’t worry, if however hazardous waste is known or suspected, we will liaise with the relevant local authorities for its safe removal.

Landscaping

Landscaping Whether your garden is in need of a revamp, or you are starting from scratch, J&O Groundworks can level your lawn, and lay new turf and paving to create that important beautiful outside space. With over 40 years of experience in landscaping our knowledge is extensive.

Site Clearance

Site clearance & prepping for site setup J&O Groundworks have extensive experience with land clearance: whether it is over-site general vegetation, fly-tipped material, reduced level dig, muck shift or general excavation; we can handle any of your requirements with ease.

Drainage

From culverts to deep drainage, we are able to carry out complete below-ground drainage installations for both residential and commercial projects. We are able to design & install stormwater attenuation units and package pumping stations for deep basement projects.
